How's this for odd:
Remember my classual Waka Waka anthem, prominently featuring my priorly-coined catchphrase? Its lyrics have now popped in the unlikeliest of places: the official anthem of the FIFA 2010 World Cup. (??!?)


"Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)", by Shakira ft. Freshlyground

Apparently, the lyrics I originally know from the CapeTown song are actually from the song Zangalewa by the Cameroonian group Golden Sounds. Who knew?
